Adult & Teen Creative Writing

Large Meeting Room
In keeping with our SRC theme of space, this program will provide an opportunity for creative writing within the genres of science fiction and fantasy, dystopian and post-apocalyptic. Participants will explore writing prose and poetry in these interrelated styles, using creative writing prompts and other exercises meant to maximize their creativity. We will cover world-building, plot development, and creating believable characters, among other things. This program is for anyone interested in creative writing, no matter their level of proficiency or experience.
