Paws for Reading on International Read Aloud Day!

Help us celebrate the power of reading with special storytimes, and events at the library all day long!
Kids are invited to read with a canine companion! Jak is a German Shepherd that loves to hear stories. Kids can take a turn reading to our lovable furry helper in the storytime room. Reading to animals is a great way for kids to practice their skills in a supportive and calm environment, without fear of judgment or expectation. Our animal friends like Jak know how to be great listeners, and they love to have kids sit and read with them.
