MPL Mission Statement: The Marion Public Library enhances the quality of life in our community by encouraging reading and the pursuit of lifelong learning. My First Library Card for 0-5 years old # staffpicks Gary Branson enjoyed this story of two college friends caught in a mystery and struggle for survival on a Canadian trip. James highly recommends this fantasy story about a grifter that has released magic on an unstable kingdom set in an alternate 1800s Egypt. Scott recommends this prequel to the James Bond series that shows the iconic super-spy as a recently promoted, and unpolished, agent. Ben enjoyed this account of a WWII US tank gunner, the German counterpart he fought in battle, and the toll of the war on both. Start them young and foster the habit of reading.
