Our January Books In Focus We love talking about our NEW books during our Books In Focus program. We will highlight a few books from the lists of FICTION and NONFICTION coming soon to our collection. Check out the new titles hitting our shelves within the month of January. January Books In Focus Selections | Watch The Video All children age 0-5 can be registered in Marion Imagination Library! Once a child is registered they will receive a book a month mailed directly to them from the Dolly Parton Imagination Library at no cost to them. Twelve books in the first year and the possibility of getting 60 for their home library if they are registered at age 0. Literacy success starts at home with daily reading. Help them form a habit of reading and lifelong learning. We are getting there. We currently have 1,589 children registered in Marion County of the 3,863 eligible children. We want the number to continue to grow to make sure ALL children under age 5 in Marion County have books in their home. Support Marion Imagination Library! The end of the year is the perfect time to show your financial support for this community literacy initiative. It continues because of the financial support of local individuals, groups, and organizations who share the same vision as Marion Imagination Library. Though any amount is welcome, $25 will cover the cost for one year and $125 for a child in the life of the program. To register a child or find donation details: MarionLibrary.org/ImaginationLibrary
