The pricing structure will remain the same as last year with first two classes being $25 and each additional course only $5. Stop by the Library to pick up your copy of the Fall course list or download one from the website, marionlibrary.org/all . 5th Annual Speaking Volumes brings Longmire author to Marion Public Library Author Craig Johnson will visit Marion on Friday, October 29 for the 5th Annual Speaking Volumes held at Marion Public Library. He is scheduled to speak at 7:00 pm, with a book signing afterward. Speaking Volumes is a fundraising event coordinated by the BookMarks Friends of Marion Public Library, a separate nonprofit organization devoted to supporting Marion Public Library. The volunteer-run group raises money through a variety of events with all proceeds going to support the operations of the Library. General public tickets go on sale September 13 . They will be available at the Library and on the BookMarks’ website at MarionOHBookMarks.org. General program is $30 per person. General program plus social hour is $75 and includes an exclusive mingle hour with Johnson starting at 6:00 pm, just before his scheduled speaking engagement. Craig Johnson is the New York Times bestselling author of the Longmire mysteries, the basis for the hit Netflix original series Longmire . He is the recipient of the Western Writers of America Spur Award for fiction, and his novella Spirit of Steamboat was the first One Book Wyoming selection.
