Marion Public Library has been serving the residents of Marion County since 1907. We offer a variety of services and programs as well as access to a wealth of books and information.

The Bookmarks are a group of volunteers that support Marion Public Library's services, programs, and facilities by operating the BookMarket, sponsoring programs, and maintaining the herb garden. 

Swoop, our mascot owl, was hatched in the Library in early 2016 and brings joy to children at many of the events and programs of Marion Public Library. Whoooo better to be a partner in reading then Swoop! 

 A "Read to Swoop" plushie is available for purchase at the front desk of the Library.
