Library Cards
Getting and using your library card
Library cards can be obtained at Marion Public Library. A valid photo ID and current address are required to register for a library card. If the address listed on your photo ID is not current, an additional piece of identification or mail with your name and current address will be needed.
- Patrons 6 years of age and older qualify for an unrestricted library card.
View our Borrower policies. - Patrons 5 years of age and under qualify for My First Library Card, a specially designed library card for our youngest members that does not accrue late fees/fines.

A minor applicant must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign the application form. The parent or legal guardian must show ID as described above and accepts responsibility for all materials checked out on the minor's account.
