What is Talking Books?
Eligible Ohio residents may receive audio, braille or downloadable books or magazines as well as playback equipment from the State Library of Ohio in conjunction with the Cleveland Public Library and the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled. Who is eligible for Talking Books service?
If you are unable to read a standard print book, or are not able to hold or turn the pages of books, you may qualify to receive this service. Those with reading disabilities such as dyslexia may also qualify.
